And I'm not saying it's a bad game or not fun, just that I wasn't experiencing the same level of novelty and excitement that I remember when I first picked it up. So after experiencing all these great games that had their own twists on the genre, returning to Slay the Spire years later makes it feel so. There's an incredible amount of good games that have come out in recent years, and it looks like several more on the horizon (maybe a little too saturated). In that four years since, I've played at least a dozen other roguelike deckbuilders, from Monster Train, to Rogue Book, to Griftlands, to Tainted Grail, etc. I decided to shelf the game until full release, but I never got around to that until just this year. Like probably many here, my first bite of the apple was Slay the Spire, and I was hooked for weeks when it was still in early access. There are plenty of other subs for this kind of thing - take it there instead. Pornography is obscenity and historically it hasn't been considered a part of free speech. One exception: This is a safe for work subreddit, so please don't post porn games, H-games ("hentai games"), etc here. Unless something is against the sitewide rules or is considered spam, it will not be censored here. This sub takes a very "free speech" approach to moderation. We are building a wiki which, among other things, has a more comprehensive list of Roguelites and Roguelikes. The term "roguelike-like" or "rogue-lite" has been used to distinguish these games that possess some, but not all, of the features from those that exactly meet the roguelike definition. If you're easily offended, it's probably not where you want to be. Be warned, this one is a free speech server. If you're looking for something a little spicier, this is my personal Discord for Roguelikes and Roguelites.
